Center done. On my version of the 1825 Hexagon Star Rosettes

Came together fast.  Good start on the quilt top.
Just need to go find some med to light creams and beiges that I like. As you can tell
Iam not A beige kind of girl.

I was going to use the dark purple wine next, but I think I will use the green instead. Then the purple.

Here my lay out plan of the Hexagon Star and Rosettes Top of 1825

Now just need to find the first color.
But that will be next week.

Ok, must be mad or a little insane! Hexagon Star and Rosettes Top 1825-1850.

Mosaic hexagon patchwork top made from printed cottons, arrnged with a central star surrounded by hexagon rosettes formed from concentric circles of the same fabric. The outer rosettes are much paler colours, contrasting against darker hexgaon triangles around the edge of the patchwork top. The fabrics range in date from 1790s - 1820s,and are a mixture of dress and furnishing fabrics.
